Hikaru provides a configurable, efficient workflow which is capable of parallel processing.
 

The workflow solution is role-based, and each user interacts with the system based on the roles ascribed to them. For example, a distributor role in the system handles the creation of assignments for a specific document and forwards it to a specific department, group or individual to complete the process associated with that document.  A processor is the recipient of an assignment and is responsible for processing.  Where there are parallel processing steps the routing may be to multiple processors.
